What an amazing weekend at Skatelab Skatepark in Simi Valley, Ca… Owner Todd Huber took Core Action on a tour of The Skateboarding Hall of Fame showing off his prized collection of skateboarding memorabilia! Todd commented “he has the best skateboarding technology from the past, and now with Core, the best of the future.”

Friday kicked off with a private session with Wee Man, of Jackass, testing the Core Zone’s on the Team Pain designed course. See Wee Man’s videos here or See what he said on Twitter

Saturday the park was filled with the best skaters from around the world, competing for 1st place in the C.A.S.L Bowl contest, being featured on the brand new Core Action Video System. The replay screens came in handy for moms, spectators and sponsors that couldn’t find a spot on the crowded deck of the bowl. The improvements in coverage led to an unprecedented number of viewers both onsite and online for an event like this.

After the awards, Core Action held a Best Hip Trick contest, in the blue room, to close out the night. The following day we noticed everyone had grabbed their skate footy online at www.coreaction.com and shared it across the Core network, Facebook and Twitter.

Core Action has launched our first Venue in Houston, Texas at Southside Skatepark. Core's automatic video system allows participants to better themselves with instant replays on-site and retrieval of their footage on-line where they can share those clips for FREE! We're very proud to say that on April 3rd, 2010 we went LIVE with a Step-Up Game of SKATE. The contest kicked off at 3pm and sixteen skaters battled elimination style for the bragging rights. Felix Hernandez took out his competitors with his amazing consistency and huge bag of tricks. Core Action followed up the Step-Up Game of SKATE with a BEST TRICK contest as The Tranquility Rail Replica got hammered by all of Southside's locals! Austin Simon had never back-tailed a hand rail and was able to roll away before time ran out! Kyle Cassidy knew a creative kick-flip lip-slide down the bank of the stairs was going to be hard for anyone to beat, he was right! Everyone that walked into the building was in awe of what Core Action Video Systems was all about...Capture. View. Share!
