Real Estate Developer John Parker, no-footed invert.
About a year ago I moved to Portland, OR from Central Pennsylvania, where I spent four years of my life for one reason: Woodward Camp. As a photographer shooting BMX, it doesn't get much better than having some of the best riders in the world around every day.
After four years in State College, the nearby city where myself, and most of the riders lived, I decided I needed to go back to a larger city. But in a sense State College and Woodward are still my second home. With a lot of great friends, and the best ramp facilities in the world, I'm back in town on a fairly regular basis (Woodward is also one of my companies clients so that doesn't hurt either).
I made a trip out this week to hang out with John Parker, Kevin Robinson, Keith McElhinney, Tom Stober, and the rest of the crew. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get everyone in town at the same time with all our hectic schedules, so Jamie Bestwick, Chad Kagy and Steve McCann were all out of town. But at least a good chunk of the crew were around, and despite the cold, the weather hasn't been too bad.

Dennis McCoy is a true legend, and a can-can lookback is a trick of legends.
Dennis McCoy also made it out this weekend, as did some of the Philly legends crew including Warren Marchese, and Large Ray. Getting those guys all together can make for an amazing time. No matter what kind of mood you're in, if Ray and Dennis are around, you're going to laugh.
An added treat were the UK rippers Harry Main and Mark Webb. Holy cow these lads are amazing. They've upped the anti this year for everyone on a bike... it's incredible. Truckdrivers to footjam nosepicks, tailwhip into tailwhip nosepick... unbelievable. Ohio to Woodward transplant Jeremiah Smith was also ripping with those guys, and is definitely another one to watch this year.
Woodward is always a good time, and though this trip was short, I'll be back soon to visit, shoot more, and beat Parker at Wii bowling.

Harry Main, one of the UK superheros and latest MirraCo team addition.

Mark Webb has been one of my favorite riders to watch the last few years. Hopefully he's done with injuries and can focus on killing it this year.
