Skateboarding suffered another huge loss on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009 with the passing of Transworld Skateboarding Magazine editor Eric Stricker.
Skin Phillips, TWS Editor-in-Chief posted the following message last night on the magazine's twitter feed:
"Eric Stricker, the Editor of Transworld Skateboarding has passed away. He was a good friend, a great editor, and a fighter.R.I.P.-skin"
Magazines and videos are the foods that have always kept skateboarding progressing and pure. They hold the scenes around the world and the industry together, and Transworld Skateboarding has been at the core of the culture since the 80s. Editors have come and gone, but their legacy forever lives on in the printed pages that die hard skateboarders will have on their shelves for years to come.
Eric leaves behind a great legacy of content for magazines like TWS and Strength. RIP.
