Where's the Tomato?

With all these big skate contests going down lately — Maloof Money Cup, X Games, Dew Tour, etc. — you may have been wondering, "Where the heck is Shaun White?"

He's not injured or off living off 2008's glory. He's been held up at a "secret" Red Bull funded halfpipe in the hills of Silverton, CO. A reported $500,000 project (with funds also kicked in from Oakley), the pipe is accessible only by Helicopter or Snowmobile.

So while his skateboarding buddies have been battling it out on dry land, White has been up in the Mountains training for the 2010 Olympics. Judging from this video TTR New Zealand Open, the work is paying off. Back to back double corks!

Chances are we won't see much of Shaun on dry halfpipes until after the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver early next year. From the looks of this he's well on his way to another Gold.
