If you missed the previous updates, you should go through and watch them (click here), but these guys have put in a ton of effort building and dialing in this set up. The Forest Grove skatepark in the Portland suburbs hosts an annual BMX jam each spring/summer.
This past weekend was the 2009 Forest Grove jam, bringing out a heap of locals and some Pros from the area including Haro Bikes/Rockstar ripper… Continue

There's so many good web edits floating around this week in the BMX world I figured I'd put together a few of them for you to save some digging. Check out some of the recent madness below.
The internet is awesome — you've found your way here because of the internet — and because of it, everyone has an outlet... even the Nasty one himself Cory Nastazio.
Now, this isn't exactly a PG rated site, so browse with care, but there is some really funny stuff on there. You'll find some funny videos and insight into the life of Nasty and his boys, as well as info on the upcoming Nasty jam.
Personally, I'd bookmark this sucker, it's got potential to be amazing. My… Continue

A little over a year ago Mike Vincent was hit by a car while riding his bike in Los Angeles. Miked worked as a judge at prominent BMX events like the X Games, Dew Tour and LG Action Sports World Championships for many years. As the result of head injuries he sustained in the accident, Mike was left without his vision.
After extensive research, Mike and his mother discovered a surgery performed in China which may be able to help him. Over the past year they've accumulated a huge tab… Continue

Ryan Nyquist has been back up in the NorCal area for close to a year, and now he's bringing the contests with him. Warriors of Wood is a jumping contest Ryan is helping to organize. The course consists of four dirt style jumps in a row constructed out of wood.
Night owl fans of BMX won't want to miss Mike Spinner on Jimmy Fallon this Wednesday night (April 22). A sit down interview with Spinner has goofy and epic written all over it. The Roots are the house band on Jimmy Fallon as well, so if you haven't seen the show yet, Wednesday night might be a good time to stay up late. High five, Spinner.
New England native / recent Greenville, NC transplant Josh Perry has been on a tear as of late, and proved his worthiness at the top by taking out the likes of Steve McCann, Jeremiah Smith, and last year's defending JomoPro champ (and champ at just about every other contest the last few years) Daniel Dhers. Perry qualified second to Jeremiah Smith, 2008 Champion Daniel Dhers came in pre-qualified for the finals. That extra bit of practice in qualifying may have ultimately given Perry the edge,… Continue

The Body Varial, or Draino as it's known when done by John Parker on vert, has been a "Holy Grail trick" for many years. Parker tried it for 13 years before finally landing it on vert in 2006. Back in the 90s a guy named Jeff Harris from Texas tried them over box jumps. Later, Jody Donelly tried them as well. But if someone had in fact landed one, it hadn't been documented. FMX rider Chuck Carothers has landed his version several… Continue

Hopefully we'll see Dennis back in action sooner than… Continue
