With all these big skate contests going down lately — Maloof Money Cup, X Games, Dew Tour, etc. — you may have been wondering, "Where the heck is Shaun White?"

The Grandmaster of 108, skateboard legend Andy Kessler died yesterday in New York, reportedly from an allergic reaction to a sting from a hornet.



Kessler was one of New York City’s legendary skaters throughout the 70s and his influence carried on throughout the years helping to build the street skating scene in NYC.
